Chlorsulfuron is a selective systemic herbicide, absorbed by the leaves and roots and moves rapidly through the plant. Chlorsulfuron prevents the plant from producing an essential amino acid. This inhibits cell division in the root tips and shoots of sensitive plants.
Chlorsulfuron is used for Control of most broad-leaved weeds and some annual grasses in wheat, barley, oats, rye, triticale, flax, and on non-crop land.
Applied pre-emergence, early post-plant incorporated at 9-25 g/ha. |
